FadeFinder

FadeFinder plans a barbershop visit: it turns a fade or cut into barber language (guard numbers, where the fade lands, what to ask, photo cues, upkeep interval), estimates typical US barber prices with tip, ranks shops you already found, estimates walk-in waits by day and hour, schedules your next cuts with reminders and grow-out stages, and drafts a booking message to send yourself. Planning only - it never books a chair, checks availability or contacts a shop.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
describe_haircutTranslate a fade or haircut style into barber language: clipper guard sequence from the bottom up with millimetres, where the fade lands (low, mid, high), top-length instruction, a one-sentence script to tell the barber, questions to ask, reference-photo cues, hair-type tips and the touch-up interval. Use before a cut. Do NOT use for prices; use estimate_barber_cost.
estimate_barber_costEstimate a typical US barbershop bill: price and chair-time range per service (fade, regular cut, buzz, kids, beard trim, lineup, hot towel shave, design, wash) scaled by city cost-of-living tier and shop type, plus tip and total. Use when budgeting a visit. Do NOT use to rank shops you found; use compare_barbershops.
compare_barbershopsRank 2-6 barbershops you already found by price, rating weighted by review count, wait time and distance, with flags for few reviews, over budget, over distance, long waits, appointment-only when you need a cut today and a missing specialty. Use when choosing a shop. Does not verify shops. Do NOT use without shop prices; use estimate_barber_cost.
plan_visit_timingEstimate walk-in waits for a barbershop visit date, hour by hour from 9 AM to 7 PM, from day-of-week, holiday-rush, shop busyness and barbers on the floor heuristics, with the best and worst windows, an arrival buffer and appointment lead time. Use when deciding when to go. Does not see any live queue. Do NOT use to rank shops; use compare_barbershops.
haircut_scheduleBuild a haircut schedule from your last cut date and style: earliest, ideal and latest date for each of the next cuts with reminder dates, grow-out stages by day, the best cut date before an event and yearly cuts and spend. Use when planning upkeep. Sets no reminders itself. Do NOT use to pick a day and hour; use plan_visit_timing.
draft_booking_messageDraft (never send) a message to a barbershop asking for an opening or walk-in window for your style, with questions on price, wait, parking and who does fades, for you to send yourself. Use when ready to contact a shop. Do NOT use to describe the cut itself; use describe_haircut.
